Find Town Hall

Colchester Events supports the Council's declaration of a climate emergency and net zero emissions target by 2030, and the need for us all to reduce the environmental impact of our lifestyles. One way we can do this is by travelling by walking, cycling or using public transport, rather than cars where possible. Please see the information about travelling to our event locations by walking, cycling and using public transport. Information is also listed about parking where this is necessary.

The Town Hall is located on High Street in the town centre, with great local bus links and within walking distance of Colchester North and Colchester Town Station.

By Bike

There are plenty of bike stands in the town centre, with some a short walk away on High Street. You can download the Colchester Cycle Map from the Cycle Colchester website, or use one of our suggested routes on this map

By Bus

The 88, S2 and Park & Ride buses stop outside Colchester Town Hall. The Town Centre is well served by most buses, stopping within a 5 minute walk of the Town Hall.

The Park & Ride is at Junction 28 of the A12, and is a quick 15 minute bus journey to the town centre.
